I did my first ever trip to Europe in late 2016. I learnt a lot of things during this trip which eventually helped me to shape my budget travelling in more organised way. Interestingly, I managed all the expenditures during my 15 days long trip in just Rs. 10,000 (INR). You must read my blog to know how I made this possible. Based on the experience of that trip, I am going to share some information which may be very helpful for everyone who is planning to do a Europe trip, especially for the first timers. Watch the video – ‘How to plan a budget Europe trip from India‘ to know more

How to plan a budget Europe trip

    1. Choose the countries which have cheap transportation and accommodations. Tourist Helpline recommends choosing Central Europian countries.
    2. Take help of online travel agencies like Skyscanner, Kayak, Momondo, etc. to know about the cheapest flights
    3. Prefer to travel by budget airlines like Smart Wings, Easyjet, Wizz air, Ryan Air, etc
    4. Stay in hostels than hotels. Get cheap hostels at hostels.com, hostelbookers.com & hostelworld.com
    5. Hitchhike & travel for free. Europe is relatively safe for Hitchhikers. Blablacar is another good option to travel.
    6. Get food at discounted rates from Supermarkets like Albert, Billa, etc
Use 'Go Euro' to find best transport across Europe and book them Online

Schengen Visa u can easily get it from VFS global. And flights U have to check from sites like skyscanner.co.in but If you are planning to transit via dubai like him which I also want to try you should be a little bit worried about the “Ok to board” thing which is required for all Indian nationals before boarding to a flight for UAE. And to get “Ok to board” means we have to apply for UAE visa. Pls anyone help us.

My friend also went to ukraine from dubai. He firstly got a transit visa for dubai. I guess transit visa is compulsory to fly from dubai
Or you can change the transit location from dubai to moscow, cheap flights to Europe are available from there

please help I am really worried with this “ok to board” thing specially baggage I will not checkin any baggage.

Did u applied for the “ok to board” clearance? and do we also require it because Air India or indigo doesn’t have any alliance with smart wings or flydubai? And how can we transfer our checked in luggage?
Because in most of the airports first we need to clear the immigration and then only we can claim our bags and again we have to further check-in our luggage’s for our next flight.
