Delhi Metro Airport express runs between ‘New Delhi’ to ‘Dwarka Sector 21’ metro stations. This is the best way to reach Delhi Airport from the city centre. It takes 19 minutes to reach Airport from New Delhi. Free luggage trolleys and paid porters are available at the entry gates and platforms at all Metro stations of the Airport Express Line. Passengers can also avail ‘check-in’ facility from New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium metro stations. Presently, this facility is presently limited to Air India and Jet Airways.

Airport bound passengers can obtain their boarding pass at the city check-in counter and check-in the luggage as well. Their checked-in baggage will be transferred to IGI Airport’s Terminal-3. Airport Metro Timings and frequency
As on August 2016, ‘Delhi Metro Airport Express’ is available after a gap of every 15 minutes. The first metro train from New Delhi metro station starts at 4.45 AM and the last train at 11.30 PM. The last station of Airport Metro is Dwarka Sector 21. Service from Dwarka starts at 4.45 AM and ends at 11.15 PM.

New Delhi ‘Airport express’ metro station is adjacent to New Delhi station of ‘Yellow line’ (another metro route of DMRC) and New Delhi Railway station of Indian Railways network.
