Based on my recent Thailand tour, I am sharing an ideal itinerary that can help you design your own trip to Thailand without going for an expensive Thailand Tour package made by someone else. I am also sharing details on the trip cost which will help you make the cheapest Thailand trip ever you can think of. If you want luxury, I have inputs for you as well.
Thailand trip cost from India?
The major elements that are currently affecting the total cost of a Thailand trip from India are – expensive Air bubble flights from India to Thailand, SHA Extra plus hotels in Thailand and other COVID specific expenditures. As the COVID related restrictions are getting eased, there are high chances of removal of the ‘stay in approved hotels’ only. As the Indian sky is now open just like pre-pandemic, there are chances of cheaper airfares and sales. So I have excluded these elements from the total Thailand trip cost.
Here are 2 different trip costs for Budget and Luxury travellers.
Cheapest Thailand trip for Budget travellers
This 7 day Thailand tour for budget travellers would cost less than 10,000 Indian Rupees. This cost includes your stay, food and travelling expense in Thailand. Follow the day-wise itinerary to know how to make the cheapest Thailand trip on your own.
Thailand trip for a big-budget traveller
This 7 day Thailand tour for budget travellers would cost around 30,000 Indian Rupees. This cost includes your stay, food and travelling expense in Thailand. If you follow my day-wise itinerary, I am sure you’ll be proud of gifting yourself a customised 7 day Thailand tour package :)

Buy a Thailand tour package or travel on your own?
I am sure most of the big travel agencies won’t offer a Thailand package from India which will take you to not-so-popular but amazingly beautiful places like Mae Kampong and Mae Salong. Whereas the itinerary which I have shared is based on my experiences of a self-made North Thailand trip. Just go through this and I am sure you can make your own Thailand Tour package from India that too according to your budget and interest.
