Exploring Himalayas in Himachal Roadways bus was fun. This is the cheapest way to travel in the Himalayas and probably the safest also. The drivers are locals and so they know the road better than anyone else. But yes, sometimes they are quite fast and reckless.
I went on Spiti trip in May 2017 from Delhi. This video shows the 2nd day of my journey. I started the journey from Delhi’s Kashmere Gate Inter-state bus terminal on the previous day, so technically this was the first day in the Himalayas on this trip.
